Ashley & Arek
We are Ashley and Arek, a Canadian-British/Polish-British couple based in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland!
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Ashley moved to the UK in 2015. Arek grew up near Gdansk, Poland, and moved to the UK in 2009. Our union together started in Edinburgh in December 2015 and we now live in a cosy house just outside Edinburgh with our gorgeous Maine Coon cat, Shadow!
Photography
Ashley has always been interested in capturing moments in time and considers herself an amateur photographer. She particularly likes capturing cityscapes and landscapes, with her photographs having been previously featured by the likes of Visit Scotland and This is Edinburgh on Instagram. This website serves to be a space where she can showcase her best collection of photographs.
Videography
On a similar spectrum, Arek has always been interested in videography. Always keen to learn more about different cameras (and drones!) and secrets to editing videos, our dedicated YouTube channel serves to be a space for him to showcase his work.
Travel
Ever since moving to the UK, we have both had the incredible opportunity to travel endlessly around Europe and beyond, having visited 17 countries together. The Maldives, Greece, and Iceland are just some of the highlights. We hope to use this website to tell you about the future travels that we go on, including tips and tricks to ensure you have the most memorable holidays.
Lifestyle
As we have a home base in Edinburgh and are not seeking to live a nomadic life, we do not travel constantly. This website will also be a place where we talk about life in Scotland, how we try to live a mindful life, and other topics of interest.
